Experience

Marissa Alkhazov joined Wolfstone Panchot & Bloch, P.S., Inc., in July 2007. Marissa practices civil litigation, toxic torts and insurance defense. Her background includes working with the U.S. Attorney General’s Office, clerking for the Honorable (Ret.) Anthony P. Wartnik, preparing for trials in Federal Court and successfully arguing before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
With exception to living in New York during law school, Marissa has spent the entirety of her life in Seattle. Currently, she resides in Seattle with her husband and two dogs.


Community Involvement
Marissa is passionate about serving the needs of those who cannot advocate for themselves. For three years, she served as pro bono counsel for a local HIV/AIDS clinic in New York; attending social security disability hearings, drafting wills, assisting in finding housing, food and other services for her clients. She has also volunteered as a tutor for at risk youth and served as a Board member for several local non- profit organizations aimed to combat homelessness and discrimination in schools.
Marissa remains committed to service-based outreach programs.
